There are 10 ‘Special Initiatives’ which the Government and the ‘Social Partners’ agreed to be important areas to be worked on during the next 3 years (in the new Social Partnership agreement ‘Sustaining Progress’).

Each delegate who attended Dáil na nÓg 2003, voted on which 2 of these 10 areas they thought should be discussed at Dáil na nÓg. The counting of the votes was done on the evening of Wednesday 15th October 2003. The Delegates decided that the two topics for debate should be:

Educational Disadvantage
