196 young people aged between 7 and 17, from all parts of the country took part in the day.

The Minister of State with Special Responsibility for Children, Mr Brian Lenihan and the former Minister for Children, Mary Hanafin T.D. were in attendance on the day to listen to the views and discussions of the children and young people.
